Messina Family Fishing Classic

June 26 - June 29, 2008 at Whale Channel
 |
The 4th Anuual Messina Family Fishing Classic was a huge success. Anglers ranging in age from 8-81 enjoyed four days of incredible fishing at Whale Channel.
We had 6 fish tip the scales at over 40 lbs! Junior angler Marc Thomsen claimed the Grand Prize of a free trip back to next year’s MFC for him and his Dad, Ric, by landing a whopping 51 lb spring on Saturday! Minutes after this fish was weighed in Marc Walters came in with a 50 lb spring that he caught on his 50th birthday! Some people know how to celebrate things right! The junior anglers in the tournament did really well. Special mention goes to Bobby Widdifield and Jesse Mast who caught 40 lb and 42 lb fish respectively. Well done guys! Good fun was had by all and most have rebooked for next years event already but if you have some family members who want to have fun and fish for prizes at the next MFC give us a call soon! Space is already limited.
Enjoy this one-of-a-kind fishing trip at the Lodge at Whale Channel - where the waters are more protected and offer fishing fun for the whole family. So get the Family involved, create new memories, and spend quality time together during our 5th Annual Messina Fishing Classic in 2008. Space is limited, inquire about availability. |
