Q. Do I need the NEW Pleasure Craft Operators Card to operate West Coast Reosrts' boats?Tansport Canada is now requiring all operators of a small vessel (ours) to have a PCOC (pleasure craft operators card). In order to allow rental boat operators and to a degree lodge operators the ability to have guests operate boats on their own, we are required to fill out a rental boat questionnaire.

Q. How do I get my fish home?
A. Please refer to the "My FISH!" section of our website for more information on how we handle your fish and timelines associated with processing.
Q. Where do we depart and arrive from and when do I need to be there?
A. Your trip begins and ends at Vancouver’s South terminal airport; an annex of the main international YVR airport. Please refer to our "Flight Information" page for details on our schedule.
Since most of our flights depart early in the morning, many of our guests stay in Vancouver the night prior to departure. Please refer to the "Hotel Information" section of our website for your booking options.
Q. Can I schedule a flight home on the day we return to Vancouver?
A. If you must schedule a flight home on the end date of your trip, we highly recommend you make it for 7:00 p.m. or later. to allow for any unforeseen delays.
Q. Are there shuttles to and from the hotels and the airport?
A. Most hotels in Richmond provide shuttle service between their properties and both airports. Shuttle service between the two airports is sporadic. Plenty of taxis are available. Upon arrival at the South Terminal after your fishing trip, West Coast Resorts representatives are on site to assist you with your transportation needs.
Q. What identification do I need when entering Canada?
A. If you are crossing a border by air, you must have a passport. If crossing by other than air, you must have photo ID plus one piece of ID that verifies citizenship (ie. birth certificate).
Q. I'm a US citizen with a DWI or DUI charge. Can I enter Canada?
Under Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, temporary residents and applicants for permanent residence in Canada may not be able to come to Canada if they have been involved in criminal activity.

A. We make every effort to update our fishing reports once per week during our fishing season.
